The Good Person Survey: Would you consider yourself to be a good person? Have you ever told a lie? If you've told a lie what would that make you? Have you ever stolen anything? What does that make you? Have you ever disobeyed your parents? If you have what does that make you? So by your own admission you are a thieving, lying, rebellious person at heart? How does that make you feel? Based on this do you still think you are a good person? If God was to Judge you by the ten commandments would you be innocent or guilty? If there was a murderer in the court of law, who said "I know that I am guilty but haven't murdered anyone else in a long time," should the judge let him go? If the judge let him go would he be a good judge? Based on this do you think you should go to heaven or hell? Does that concern you? If you are standing in court and are guilty of a crime with a $50,000 fine, and the judge says "you are guilty, anything to say before I pass your sentence?" and you were to reply "yes I know I am guilty and I am sorry for what I have done, please forgive me." Can the judge let you go just because your sorry, or because you say you won't do it again? What if someone runs into the court room and says "I will pay the fine for them." then could the judge let you go if the fine was paid? Because you are a thieving lying rebellious person at heart, you have broken God's commandments, and because of this it is His responsibility to send you to hell, what if there was a way to escape this punishment, would you take it? God did provide you a way to be forgiven, and because He loves all people, He sent His only son to suffer in your place, and to take your punishment so you could live. He paid the fine that you owed and could not pay. On the third day Jesus rose from the dead, defeating death itself, and if you will turn away from your sins, God will give you eternal life. Would you like to go to heaven when you die?
